Google My Business Arrives to Replace Google Local

Google has created Google My Business, a one-stop shop for small business owners looking to increase their visibility within Google search, Google Maps, and Google+. Users will also be able to access their applications in one place. In order to avoid the need to make duplicate entries while still providing information across all Google products, users will only need to enter their information one time and it will populate into all of Google’s services.

Google+ has always been a confusing social platform that businesses sign up for and rarely interact with. The main value has always been being a part of a directory that links with Google Search and Google Maps. This update makes it very important for small business owners to update their listings with Google.
